A DESPERATE MOTHER … THEN A GODWINK

A DESPERATE MOTHER … THEN A GODWINK

SQuire Rushnell

"My SON Matthew was ADDICTED to drugs and I didn’t know what to do.

He eventually checked into a rehab center but four days later I still had NO IDEA if he had stayed or walked away.

I sat at home, crying and PRAYING. Pleading with God, I said, ‘I am so scared. Is he even still there?’

A VOICE said, ‘Call.’

I was confused. But when I phoned the rehab facility a lady told me she COULDN'T TELL me anything. It wasn’t allowed.

I cried so hard … telling her I just wanted to make sure my son was still there.

She repeated that she couldn’t tell me anything. That she could get in trouble.

The third time I asked, she felt so sorry for me, and asked, ‘What’s his name?’ She repeated it ALOUD.

Then I heard a voice in the background, saying, ‘If that’s mom, tell her I'M OKAY.’

My son was standing in front of her desk the exact moment I called! That was a Godwink!

He recovered and has been well for over 20 years due to God’s mercy and grace.”
