A HEARTWARMING STORY INVOLVING PRAYER
“I've been DOING some WORK for an older couple, Mr. and Mrs. Carroll, who are 90 and 88 years old… married nearly 60 years.
I've been fixing their fence and replacing some deck boards.
Mr. Carroll told me how he and his wife had a MATCHING wedding RINGS. But HIS was LOST 15 years ago while working in the yard. They looked and looked but never found it.
As I worked, I had been PRAYING I might find it.
While replacing some rotten deck boards, one board didn't look like it needed to be replaced… but SOMETHING NUDGED me to pull it up anyway.
When I did, I FOUND THE RING sitting on a little pile of leaves underneath the board. It looked BRAND NEW… like it had just been waiting there all these years.
When the Carroll's got home, I told them I'd found something. I opened my hand and showed them the ring, they were stunned. They both teared up.
I can't describe the feeling it gave me. I actually cried on the way home… good, thankful tears.
