“When my FATHER passed away my Aunt told me about the poem of ‘Pennies from Heaven’ by C. Mashburn.
The last stanza is a reminder:
So don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue.
It may be a penny from heaven
That an Angel's tossed to you.
Since then, when I find a PENNY I say a PRAYER of thanks and put it in a special box to remind me of DAD.
One day I met a HOMELESS MAN on the street … gave him some money as well as my business card in case he needed a reference in looking for work.
A few weeks later I received a card at work. The outside of the envelope said, ‘A penny for your thoughts.’
I opened it. It was from the HOMELESS MAN, with a shiny penny inside!
He never said anything about the penny, just included it.
He had no way of knowing WHAT PENNIES MEANT to me.

To some a penny is worthless... but for some like Vicki... it can be a PRICELESS Godwink!
Please take a moment to revisit poet Mashburn's enduring poem... there's a lot of wisdom there.
