“I believed in Godwinks even before I knew the word! My MOTHER taught me about SIGNS from God.

My PARENTS were wonderful people and we enjoyed playing SCRABBLE as a family.

I made up a special "angel" NAME for them, COMBINING their names Laurence and Rita… becoming LAURITA.

I MISS my PARENTS deeply, and now, playing COMPUTER Scrabble can be bittersweet… but, I still love the game.

I recently HALF JOKED out loud and said… ‘Ok mom - please send me a Scrabble WORD SIGN’ Ha!

A couple game moves later I was FLABBERGASTED!

The letters on my Scrabble tray spelled out LAURITA!

I felt a sense of heavenly comfort right from God… my WORD SIGN Godwink!

He said I needed an ultrasound. They were very new and not so routine in the mid 80’s. I went home for a nap and flipped the Bible, by my bedside, open and my eyes fell upon " they told her the baby was ok, it was a boy". At the ultrasound the tech said she thought it was a girl. As time went by I rested on the promise of the scripture. When I packed my bag for the hospital I had a neutral baby outfit for homecoming. At the last minute I said “no” I had to change the jamie to a blue one for a boy! I had a 10 pound blue eyed baby boy. He is 6’1" now and a father to two beautiful blue eyed daughters,
