FROZEN PIPES… PRAYER… and GODWINKS!
We remember the 2021 images of FROZEN WINDMILLS in Texas!
This week the Houston Chronicle asked: “Will THIS WEEKEND'S winter STORM be a repeat of the 2021 DEEP FREEZE?”
Probably not… there’ll be hazards, but the catastrophe five years ago left hundreds of thousands WITHOUT POWER and heat for several days.
That REMINDED us of the charming Godwink Story we received at the time from Texas Godwinker Anita Onarecker Wood. She wrote:
“Thank You God … the POWER is back on … the FROZEN PIPES are fixed… and we’ve got WATER AGAIN!
After days of freezing cold and no electricity, we discovered there were BROKEN PIPES under our 100-yr-old-house. Even worse… we were met with a dire report… the plumbing supply store SHELVES were BARE!
We PRAYED for a solution!
A builder friend came to mind. And he agreed to see if he had any of the needed pipes in his warehouse.
Reporting back he began to LAUGH.
‘I looked one direction and found a length of PIPE; turned my head and found an ELBOW… and within minutes had EVERYTHING I NEEDED to fix your pipes!”
Amazing, how God knew just where the parts were! We just had to ASK.”
