HOW TO FIND GODWINKS? SEEK 'EM
A delightful Godwink story from our friend Sandy Moons:
“I was on a RETREAT with a strong desire to seek and CONNECT with the Lord.
At the Sacred Heart Retreat House there is a long quiet WALKWAY, perfect for meditations, called ‘Road To Emmaus’… named after the road where Jesus appeared to his disciples following the resurrection.
While on my walk, so serene, next to a tall majestic row of hedges, I pleaded to God to ‘hear me… CALL MY NAME!’
To my surprise… almost instantaneously… I heard a loud voice call….’S A N D Y!’
I stopped in my tracks! Again, the voice from beyond the hedge shouted my name...
‘S A N D Y!’
Quickly, I peeked through the branches. A lady was on her porch calling out …looking for HER ‘Sandy’!
I laughed!
The timing of that Godwink was downright AMAZING!
I truly FELT the Lord, without missing a beat… had ANSWERED my prayer… and was walking with me… and talking with me!”
