GODWINKS ... AS DELIGHTFULLY ODD ... AS A $2 Bill
“On MOTHER’S DAY weekend my husband handed me a $2 BILL he found in a PILE of PAPERS I had asked him to shred.
I was instantly brought to tears. Scrawled in my mother’s own handwriting … was the date 'May 9, 2010'.
I recalled … Mom had received the rare two-dollar bill as change on Mother’s Day that year … and she wrote the date on it … saying I should keep it to remember the wonderful day we had together.
Mom passed away seven years later in 2017.
It was an even bigger Godwink that the $2 bill RESURFACED ON Mother’s Day weekend… when I’m 8 months pregnant with my first daughter!"
