“Rod and I were close CHILDHOOD FRIENDS, attended family weddings together, and dated a few times as teenagers.

But, after High School our lives went in different directions.

In 1971, I married Daniel and we entered the ministry traveling as evangelists and pastoring. But God had other plans. After 20 years I lost Daniel to a battle with cancer.

Two years later, Rod happened to attend our church. His sister said quietly, ‘Rod is for you.’

Soon he invited me on a date and ONLY WEEKS after that, Rod asked me to MARRY him! We will celebrate our 30th anniversary in March.

But here’s the MOST WONDERFUL Godwink:

When I was six and Rod was eight we attended his AUNT'S WEDDING. We were the miniature bride and groom.

I told everyone we were MARRIED!
