THE GODWINK AND A CHICKEN SOUP RECIPE
“My husband made some HOME-MADE CHICKEN SOUP and I mentioned that it was something I was never good at.
I told my daughter that my MOM had a recipe for CHICKEN SOUP DUMPLINGS… which would be nice for her to have… but I hadn't been able to find it for some time now.
A few days passed and that conversation left my memory.
I was hanging up some clothes in a bedroom CLOSET when my eye caught a piece of school NOTEBOOK PAPER sitting on top of a bucket of pictures I had been planning to scan, one of these days.
The paper was folded. But, I could see a bit of handwriting that looked familiar.
I reached down and picked it up. It was a RECIPE… in Mom’s writing… similar to many others I’d seen over the years.
My eyes opened as I read the title… ‘Old FAMILY RECIPE for DUMPLINGS’!
I was so shocked!
There was absolutely no reason for the recipe to be there with the pictures, let alone, right on top.
And what a nice Godwink… my daughter will now have it. And so will my husband the next time he makes us Chicken Soup!”
