Dad was 90 yrs old … had served in the Navy in WWII… and we were honored to care for him.

But my brother, my HERO, in his 60s, who’d also served in the Navy as a pilot… that was sudden SHOCKER!

To relieve our Daughter in Law we took our grandkids to their favorite PARK where they could play on the CLIMBING EQUIPMENT.

As I sat, lost in GRIEF, my grandson CLIMBED to the top of the slide and started SPINNING the big plastic LETTERS at the top.

He CALLED OUT to me to look up. And I began to CRY.

Oblivious to the meaning … he’d spelled out DEN/DAD/GOD!

Admittedly, I have a School House Rock mentality, but isn’t there such GRACE and BEAUTY in the SIMPLICITY of how God speaks to us?

In both the ancient scriptures … and in the simplicity of most GODWINKS?
