FOR DOLLY, GODWINKS WERE EVERYWHERE!

FOR DOLLY, GODWINKS WERE EVERYWHERE!

More than a singer, songwriter, and entertainer, DOLLY PARTON was a beacon of HOPE for DREAMERS.

For MORGAN MYLES, it was a “God Wink” to honor Dolly’s legacy, at the Grand Ole Opry… on the SAME famed STAGE where Dolly had made her debut as a teenager.

Morgan, herself, rose to fame on The Voice TV Series.

As she looked out over the crowd, her VOICE CRACKED.

“Y’all, I’ve been crying all day because we lost our lighthouse.”

She explained that about two o’clock that afternoon she found out Dolly had gone to heaven. She immediately texted the Opry to ask if she could CHANGE the SONG she’d planned to sing. They said yes.

Fighting back tears, Morgan prepared to sing one of Dolly’s most famous songs, “I Will Always Love You.”

She confided, “I wasn’t even supposed to be here … I’m a FILL-IN.” And being at this time and place “feels like a God wink.”

Dolly Parton frequently used the term “Godwink” to describe signs of hope from divine origin.

A friend of ours described the time she was with Dolly in a meeting with the president of NBC Television… pitching the movie about herself as a little girl, “Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors”.

Enthusiastically Dolly said, “This whole story is a Godwink!”

Everyone on planet Earth can feel blessed that we felt the goodness and warmth that radiated from the heart of Dolly Parton like a beacon of light.
