WHEN SOMEONE SAYS "I LOVE YOU... BUT"...

WHEN SOMEONE SAYS "I LOVE YOU... BUT"...

SQuire Rushnell
...Then, in the next breath, cuts you down, know this... love does not come with a “but.”

Anything that attacks you under the mask of love... is not love at all. It is judgment disguised as caring.

We have a staircase in our house that reminds us every day what love really is. From the primary source of all truth. The Bible.

When we walk up to the second floor we are literally walking on the Word!

Corinthians 13:4, 7–8: Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud… it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails”

Love does not weaken, it strengthens. Love does not tear down, it builds up.

Love does not come with a “BUT”.

Blessings, Louise
