“Years ago my great grandfather, John Fuller, took his family from Texas to California.
His daughter, Geraldine, was IN LOVE with a boy named Vestus Ritchie.
As the Fuller family truck was getting ready to leave… Vestus stood by the road WAVING and sad.
He decided then and there, he had to FOLLOW his love… to somehow find her in California.

Vestus HOPPED a FREIGHT and spent days hiding from the conductor.
