YOU'LL WAG YOUR TAIL... OVER THIS GODWINK TALE
“We rescued our dog WOODY when he was 6 months old.
For awhile we had two other rescue dogs, but when they passed, Woody seemed to really enjoy being the only dog in our life.
Woody LOVED EXPLORING the nearby woods and running outside daily. Then, in April, at almost 14, our hearts were absolutely broken.
Our sweet dog passed.
In September we needed to travel for our granddaughter’s wedding and arranged to stay at an airbnb.
When we arrived I thought, with SADNESS, how much Woody would have LOVED the CABIN we arrived at, surrounded by CORNFIELDS.
Inside the owners had left us a welcome note, adding… ‘WOODY is a friendly dog and is no trouble… he eats nothing".
WHAT? Puzzled… I looked around!
Then I saw a DOG… laying on the floor by the fireplace … a carved WOODEN Dog!
Of all the names… it was WOODY!
God was soothing our hearts through that wonderful Godwink-memory of OUR Woody… as only HE could do!”

God knows when we are HURTING.
And, when we least expect it, He can lift our spirits, reminding us that when we get to HEAVEN, we’ll again SEE our dear PETS.
For our book Godwinks & Divine Alignment, the final chapter, we wrote a story about a young man who experienced near death… his body stopped functioning. He temporarily visited heaven… SAW loved ones and PETS… and was able to report on that, upon his return.
