SPLATTERED CAKE, A GODWINKY ENCOUNTER & ALL IS WELL
“I was sliding my CAKE onto a platter… it slipped and FELL to the floor!
ANNOYED, I shouted something I shouldn’t have ... I needed that cake for an event that evening.
Mike rushed into the kitchen, calmed me down, and suggested I run to the store to get something else.
Still ticked, I got in my car, and before I knew it, I was halfway to the furthest store, rather than the closer one.
ANNOYED AGAIN, I took a breath and shrugged.
While leaving the store, I ran into Rita. A very dear friend from years ago. Seeing her LIFTED ME UP!
When I got home Mike asked an ODD QUESTION: ‘Holly, did you see anyone special?’
I was like, ‘Yeahhhhhhhh, Why?’
He looked at me, smiled, and said: ‘I PRAYED you’d run into someone at the store who’d lift your spirits!
I told him about Rita. And we both laughed and shouted, “Thank you, Lord!”
