“In our mid-70s, we considered moving to a retirement community… then decided to stay in the home we have lived in and raised our children for 38 years. After all, it’s paid for.
Recently our “son-in-love”, a mortgage broker, sent me a listing for a small PRETTY BUNGALOW ten minutes from their house. ‘What do you think?’ he asked. ‘You could sell your house and pay cash for this.’
Now we had confusion and UNCERTAINTY!
Hubby and I talked about it… stayed up late praying, ‘Lord, if this is Your will, please OPEN DOORS and pave the way. But if not… please SLAM DOORS and put up OBSTACLES!’
We decided to walk through the house… which is smaller of course… but really LIKED it. Over the weekend we discussed it… prayed about it… and on Monday put in an OFFER.
Wednesday, it was ACCEPTED and we were buying a house! WITHOUT one glitch or OBSTACLE!
God Winked! He paved the way, threw open every door and we close in one month. When God winks, He doesn’t mess around!
