“I attended a wedding recently… my first since DADDY passed away.

I’ve never been married and have struggled to accept that my daddy will NEVER walk me down the aisle.

So, by attending this wedding, I was not sure what to expect.

I made it through the ceremony.

But at the reception, when the FATHER of the Bride TOASTED his daughter … I lost it… quickly departing the table to compose myself.

On my way home... not sure if I had embarrassed myself... a SONG came on the RADIO that left my jaw on the floor.

It was a song I'd not heard in probably two decades … one of my dad’s FAVORITE'S… “I’ll ALWAYS Love You” written by Dolly Parton.

It was such a Godwink!

It was like Daddy and God were talking to me … letting me know that everything would be okay, even when I miss him so much it hurts.

Thank You, God, for always comforting us.”
