God likes it when we live by His guiding values found in the ancient scriptures. Some have described those words, enduring for thousands of years, as God’s love letter to each of us.

It stands to reason that the more we follow His biblical principles, the more He will communicate with us through His mysterious ways ⎯ Godwinks.

In the Hebrew language, the word “coincidence” doesn’t exist. The rationale: if all things come from God, there is no need for the term.

Is it possible that when God made dogs He was creating furry friendly agents on earth to deliver Godwink messages to people like you and me?

Grief is one of the most difficult paths to navigate in life. We may think we are ready. In fact, intellectually, we may be ready. But rarely are we prepared for the emotional burden that seems to be thrust upon us, to be carried all of a sudden, all by ourselves. 

The loss of a pet is a weight upon our hearts that can feel just as heavy as the loss of another member of the family. 

Your dog may have had extraordinary attributes that were missed even more than those from humans. 

The unconditional love your dog demonstrated, over and over, meant that there was never a list of grievances kept against you. Maybe you didn’t always come home when you said you would, or you sometimes lost your temper. Your pet still loved you . . . without conditions.

When it happens, you know that God has been with you all along⎯ yesterday, today, and He will be with you tomorrow.

Was there ever something that you wanted more than anything, and you prayed for it, but knew there was no earthly way that God could possibly answer your prayer? Never lose faith. Prayer is your most important connector to the desires of your heart. 

The more you communicate with Him⎯through prayer⎯the more He’ll communicate back to you through Godwinks, which, after all, is another word for “answered prayer.”

A 110-year-old willow tree COLLAPSED. Arborists arrived and removed everything ... leaving an eight-foot stump.

I was feeling so sad, mourning the loss of my mother. I looked out my back window and saw two BLUEBIRDS. But when I opened a package from my sister you'll never guess what was inside.

Congressional representatives, for weeks and weeks, had hurled bitter invective and harsh words of calamity. Could anything restore harmony? Was there any hope for a peaceful nation? An 81 year old man with flowing gray hair and wire spectacles stood up...

Sammy was a sociable little Westie. If dogs could whistle, that’s what he was doing. Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah. Like in a movie about New York City in which he was the star.

GRRRR…GRRRROWL! Sammy bolted! Helplessly lost in Central Park.

Then a voice spoke in a foreign language ... this time Sammy ran to familiarity.

I’m writing this blog while sipping my hot cocoa in front of the fireplace watching another Hallmark Godwink Christmas Movie! What’s not to love? The magic of Christmas brings us back to a time and place that warms our hearts like a down comforter on a cold day.

On the day after the premier of “A Godwink Christmas: Meant For Love” ...we are very grateful!

It was a blessing to see such an outpouring of positive reaction from all of you.
