“My mother had Alzheimer’s ...she COULDN’T REMEMBER to take her shower. But ... a YELLOW DUCK placed on her bureau was a reminder.

Before Mom went home to be with the Lord I whispered into her ear asking God to send a SIGN that she was okay. A few days after she departed I saw it and said, "That's it.. MY SIGN!"

“I pulled out my SKETCHPAD to draw. My husband popped in with a package containing a new Godwinks book ...and admired my drawing of the Daffy and Sylvester cartoon characters.

When finished with my drawing I randomly opened the new book and laughed out loud. The author was describing DAFFY & SYLVESTER…”.

What??

The TREE in my next door neighbor’s yard was LEANING PRECARIOUSLY towards our house. Yet, since the neighbor’s property was in foreclosure, no one would take responsibility for its removal.

I discussed my FEARS on several occasions with my dear friend Bill. We didn’t have a solution. I REMAINED FEARFUL.

“I was talking about the importance of TEACHERS and illustrated my point with a story from a book about Godwinks.

A guest whom I'd just met, was prompted to reveal that his FRENCH TEACHER took him under her wing and provided encouragement. He wished he knew how to FIND HER to thank her.

Guess what happened next!"

“I knew my FIRST CHRISTMAS WITHOUT MOM was going to be difficult. Honestly, I was dreading it.

At the mailbox I pulled out a small package. The sender was no one I recognized.

After lunch I gave in to my curiosity. I was WIDE-EYED ... then TEARY-EYED...

“One day my old car died as I was driving my SEVEN YEAR OLD daughter to school.

I was STRESSED ... but when it suddenly started ... my daughter looked at me with an angelic face and said...

“Years ago I went forward at a Billy Graham Crusade and a YOUNG WOMAN prayed with me. She subsequently wrote to me for months … until I stopped returning her letters.

Years later, my heart longed to FIND HER, but my NOTE was RETURNED as undeliverable.

Then … when I called the TELEPHONE OPERATOR for a number or address, I had the biggest SURPRISE …”

"My MOM, a shut-in at 88, was looking forward to seeing our family on THANKSGIVING. But, at the last minute everyone got SICK and we had to CANCEL our TRAVEL plans to be with her. Worse, she had nothing in the freezer.

However, a call to a CLOSED restaurant delivered a Godwink...

“I always tell my daughter to make sure she has at least a HALF-A-TANK of GAS in her car.

One night she called and said, ‘Mom, don't get MAD ..."

“At a BARGAIN STORE I bought a CLOCK for $5.99 that was supposed to say Bible verses ON THE HOUR!

I sighed and went to the sunporch to PRAY about our annual 1000-mile that was giving me much ANXIETY.

Then I heard a VOICE. It said...

“They refurbished the auditorium of a school ... I purchased a PLAQUE on the back of one of the 600 seats to HONOR DAD.

Recently my daughter anxiously arrived late for an event at that school... there were few seats left ...

That's all it took. I had to excuse myself to go CRY in another room.

Cleaning the church where Mom and the family have always attended, someone’s funeral announcement card was on the seat. I picked it up to see who it was for.

It was my own mother’s card!

God likes it when we live by His guiding values found in the ancient scriptures. Some have described those words, enduring for thousands of years, as God’s love letter to each of us.

It stands to reason that the more we follow His biblical principles, the more He will communicate with us through His mysterious ways ⎯ Godwinks.

In the Hebrew language, the word “coincidence” doesn’t exist. The rationale: if all things come from God, there is no need for the term.
